Why The Sandbar's My Go-To

Picture this: waves rolling in, a salty breeze messing up your hair, and a plate of fresh oysters being in front of you. That's The Sandbar at Deauville Inn in Strathmere, New Jersey. It's not simply a location to eat-- it's where you go to absorb the beach life. The sight's unbelievable, the entire Atlantic sprawled out like it's flaunting, and the energy's just right, somewhere between cool and humming. I swear, every single time I go, it seems like hitting the reset switch.

You're resting there, open air all around, with seagulls swooping and perhaps some individual playing a guitar nearby. You really feel like you're component of the beach, not just looking at it.

It's perfect whether I'm simply stopping by for lunch or meeting up with pals for a sunset hang. Doesn't matter if you roll up sandy from the beach or tie up a boat close by, they're great with it.
